Aachaarya and GURU; by definition are distinct
entities. Aachaarya disseminate the Ashtadasavidhya. GURU is the substratum of
eternal wisdom. Eternal wisdom is Adwaitham - the singularity of the Aathma.
Experience of it is possible ONLY with GURU's grace. One can have multiple
Aachaaryaas. But GURU is only ONE. Though we revere SadhGuru, ParamaGuru,
ParamaeshtiGuru & ParaaparaGuru; the ultimate GURU is Dhakshinamurthy.
For instance; In the Mahabharatha, Drona is Arjun's Aachaarya - Dronaachaarya. Krishna is Arjun's GURU. Karna had multiple Aachaaryas.
Dronacharya & Parasurama. However, GURU is only ONE.
Teachers in schools; professors in colleges; sports
trainers; are neither Aacharyas nor GURU. Aachaarya is one who practices what he
teaches others - teaching by way of life. GURU would never be contained by
anything other than justice, righteousness, honesty, principles and truth. However,
the state of GURU per se would have transcended justice, righteousness,
honesty, principles and truth - to remain in Adwaitham - nonduality.
